Fees: $6.50 per car Cub Scout Division.
$15.00 Open Division.
All fees are transferable within the Pack.
To race in the Chief Black Dog District Pinewood Derby in the Cub Scout Division a participant must be a registered Cub Scout on 1/1/2008 and have been selected by their Pack. Each Pack may register up to 3 Cub Scouts PER RANK. If the pack has fewer than 6 Tigers, please send them all!
BIG CHANGE: The Rank Divisions will race separately. The Open Division will also have a separate set of races. If a division finishes early the Open Division races will be used to "fill the time" - not likely but possible! This will allow for a shorter time requirement for most families.
There will be trophies for the first TEN places of EACH SCOUT DIVISION. There will be trophies for the top THREE places in the OPEN DIVISION. Each car will go down the track 7 times. One time for warm-up and then six times against the clock, once down each lane of the track. The trophies will be awarded on the basis of the total time for the six runs.
