To race in the Chief Black Dog District Pinewood Derby in the Cub Scout Division a participant must be a registered Cub Scout by 1/1/2007 and have been selected by their Pack.  Each Pack may register up to 5 Cub Scouts and 3 Tiger Cubs.  If the pack has fewer than 6 Tigers, please send them all!  The Tigers and Cub Divisions will race together.  The Open Division will have a separate set of races. 

 

There will be trophies for the first TEN places of EACH SCOUT DIVISION.  There will be trophies for the top THREE places in the OPEN DIVISION.

 

Each car will go down the track 7 times.  One time for warm-up and then six times against the clock, once down each lane of the track.  The trophies will be awarded on the basis of the total time for the six runs.
