These workshops are hosted by Warren Kalsow of Pack 227 from Southview.  They are open to everyone wanting to build a Pinewood Derby Car!  All that is needed is a KIT, a CUB (or other builder), and some excitement!

 

The workshop focuses on the following areas:  Design, Cutting out the Body, Wheel preparation, Axle preparation, and Weighting to 4.75 ounces, all with lots of Helpful Advice. J

 

If you are planning on adding a driver or other “extra” decorations please try and bring them so they can be used at the time of weighting.

 

You will end up with a car that is ready to take home for painting, putting on the wheels, lubing the axels, and final alignment!

 

You can use/see the specialized tools/gadgets that exist to “enhance” your car’s performance.  J
